From your book I know that your inroads to developing a better relationship with your new found daughter (I hate the word "step daughter") has been nothing short of remarkable. Your success so far has been combination of determination and luck.
Rest well tonight in the knowledge that some time in the future (months?? years???), you will be looked upon as the best father the luckiest daughter in the world could possibly have. This I know.
